Asia Pacific Regional Internet Governance Forum (APrIGF) is a regional Internet Governance Forum recognized by UN IGF Secretariat with no such parallel forum within the Asia Pacific region. APrIGF serves as a platform for discussion, exchange, and collaboration on Internet Governance Issues at a regional level. In a broader sense, APrIGF intends to raise awareness and encourage participation from relevant stakeholders around the region on Internet governance issues, as well as to foster multi-lateral, multi-stakeholder discussion about issues pertinent to the Internet in Asia. It follows the same approach and core principles of IGF i.e. being open, transparent, multi-stakeholder, bottom-up, and non-commercial. In addition to that, it has always promoted youth as an integral part of APrIGF and youth IGF Asia Pacific are held in parallel.
This year APrIGF along with APSIG and APNIC 54 will be held at Grand Hyatt Singapore. The registrations for APrIGF 2022 and APNIC 54 can be done from the following link. You will need an APNIC account to pre-register for both event.
