Youth IGF Nepal 2026 is happening on 2 October, 2026, in Kathmandu!

Now in its 5th edition, the forum brings together young changemakers, enthusiasts, and experts in Internet Governance. Since 2022, yIGF Nepal has built a platform for youth voices on issues like AI governance, digital inclusion, and online freedoms.

This year, we are taking it further by connecting Nepal's youth to regional and global Internet Governance spaces, and ensuring the next generation helps shape a more open and inclusive digital future.

Youth IGF Nepal 2026 Fellowship

Each year, yIGF Nepal brings together youth, policymakers, academia, civil society, the technical community, and the private sector to exchange ideas, build capacity, and foster dialogue on key Internet Governance issues.

The yIGF Nepal Fellowship for its 5th edition aims to promote inclusive participation by supporting young people from outside Kathmandu Valley, ensuring that diverse voices from across Nepal are represented in national Internet Governance discussions.

We welcome applications from passionate young people who are eager to learn, collaborate, and contribute to Nepal's growing Internet Governance community. Previous experience in Internet Governance is not required.
